Tiger's Tale
Internship - AR Adventure
Tiger's Tale follows the history surrounding Rochester Institute of Technology and the changes made to it throughout history. The school moved from Rochester, NY to Henrietta, NY where it is home to thousands of students in degrees ranging from art to robotics. This game allows the user to take a walk through Rochester and get a glimpse of what the old buildings looked like while also being able to see what is currently standing there.

In a style similar to Pokémon GO this game follows a path you have the opportunity to explore and learn history about multiple structures! The game was created as a way to introduce people to the history about the college and how it helped Rochester thrive. Future developments of this game will grow off of Mapbox more and allow for AR experiences.

Role - UI and 3D Model
While working on this project, my primary role was 3D modeling. I took the old images of buildings and produced models that took in all the features of the photographs. Out of a total of 64 buildings, I created and repaired over 75% of them in a span of less than 7 months.

Buildings were created using Maya, Blender, and Mudbox.

In terms of the UI elements, I focused on improving the screens, pages, and visual elements such as icons and buttons that the player used to interact within the game with. The font is a bit large and out of place at times but that is the result of our lead programmer at the time. Aspects of the UI design can be seen in the above video.
